Delete your account

From the app

Open Threk, go to Profile, open Settings (the gear at the top), scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account. You will be asked to retype your handle to confirm: it is there to stop it happening by accident, because there is no undo.

What gets deleted

• the account, the email address and the profile
• all your attempts and all your leaderboard rows
• all your videos, from the storage that holds them

Your data is deleted from active systems immediately. Database backup copies are overwritten within 14 days and are never used to restore a deleted account.

What remains

• product usage events, with no reference to you;
• if the account had been blocked because it belonged to someone under 18, the one-way fingerprint of the blocked device, for up to 24 months (Privacy Notice, section 13).
